Artist Statement

I paint with oil color, in pursuit of the same revelations I imagine the pioneers of modern art sought. I want to paint until I've "said it", whatever that is. I pursue subjects that resonate for me in my interpersonal associations and societal perspectives, such as the workplace, or marketplace. I identify with Milton Avery, Rene Magritte, Ben Shahn, and professors that I have had.
