Artist Statement

I’ve been taking photos since I was in grammar school, but it was only until 2001 that I finally decided to do something with them. I’ve never taken any formal classes, never search for inspiration or tell my subjects what to do. I see something that makes me feel good and I shoot it. In the end, it’s not what I think of the photo that’s important – it’s what it does to the person looking at it, how it makes him or her feel, that truly matters to me.
