ARTIST STATEMENT

There is something exciting about the creative process.Being available for the "Universe" to express new and old concepts and imagery is truly amazing.So much so that I don't really feel that I am creating anything,but rather being used by or a part of the "Devine Oneness".I am occasionally a guest in the home of someone that owns a piece of art that has come through me. I feel no ownership.I might admire the work, but with such an uncanny detachment that it could be the work of someone else.

Being in the moment in order to receive the artistic energy from the unknown is what my art is about.Therefore whether it is an image of a mother and child,blazing king,or shield of faith they are all the same to me.I might say that the mother and child paintings represent the relationship between the Feminine principle or Earth and Human kind.In that scenario the King paintings would be the Masculine energy of the Sun,and the shield paintings Uncertainty and the Unknown.However it is my hope not to over think my art,but to feel it.

I must admit that that only truly consistent messages in my work are "Play,Whimsy,and Fun!
